Work Done, In Progress, and Way Ahead:

• Work Done:
  The DCR has been notified as a part of the Patna Master Plan. The Affordable Housing Policy is being implemented in the Patna Metropolitan Area. Formulation of regulations to regularize structures prior to the notification of the Patna Master Plan has been completed or is in its final stages. Policies for the approval of Building Plans under Special Appeal of DCR have been prepared.

• In Progress:
  The Online Building Permission System (OBPS) is being developed, including an auto drawing scrutiny engine and a single-window system, which is in its final stage of development. The software has been customized as per the proposed Building Byelaws. Testing of the software is being carried out with architects, technical personnel, and authorities.

• Way Ahead:
  OBPS with the Auto DCR software will be implemented. Target date: within 15 days after the notification of the proposed Building Byelaws.
   

  Note: For the first time, an Automated Scrutiny Engine will be introduced in PMAA for online building plan approval.
